      Research center of carrot health food, China
          From 1990 to 2001

  The research on carrot processing and development, a key project of agricultural office of CAS, was taken on in December, in 1988 by the Shijiazhuang Institute of Agricultural Modernization, CAS, who had been studying on the techniques of industrial processing carrot and on the health function of carrot for 12 years .Now, this project has been lined at the international level.

 Yiyu Chen and Zhihong Xu, vice presidents of CAS, were hearing the report about the carrot food anti cancer in June 1995   C.R.LERICI, professor and director of food     improvement of international laboratory,      inspected the carrot processing in May 1997.

      
C.R.LERICI, a professor and director of food improvement of international laboratory, was hearing the report about carrot working as an intestine regulator.   Manjiang Niu, professor and an American famous  biologist who interested improving carrot quality  from gene level. This picture was taken after he  heard the report of professor Xinhua Hong in July  in 2001.

 
 The project of "study on the carrot production series and the carrot juice of broken cell wall" passed the authorization of CAS. and was recognized to get to the international level in May 1991.

 
 The project of "study on the carrot healthfood" passed the authorization of CAS. and was recognized to have reached the international level in June 2000.  The authorization was presided by Gentao Liu,  an academician of Chinese Medication of     Science.
